Lovely 1 bedroom apartment of about 45 sq. mt. for 3 guests, with refined furnishings and located on the ground floor of a traditional building in the historic city center of Bologna. The property has a private garden and entrance.

Guests have full use of the kitchen. Sheets and towels are provided. Upon arrival, our staff will be at the apartment to explain how everything in the apartment works and to deliver the keys. During your stay, we are at your disposal for any need.

The apartment overlooks an internal courtyard and consequently is very quiet. Air conditioning is provided with a portable unit, heating is autonomous, and both rooms are finished with pretty ceramic flooring. Being on the ground floor, the apartment guarantees easy access for those with reduced mobility (there is only one step before the apartment).

The apartment opens up onto a furnished living room with classic and refined taste, furnished with a wood dining table for 4 guests, 2 comfortable leather armchairs and a 24” flat screen TV. The kitchen is fully equipped and thanks to its shiny black counter, it has an extremely modern and functional look. It includes appliances such as an electric oven, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, and a gas stove. From the living area you can directly access the garden, equipped with a table and folding chairs that can be stored in a special chest.

The bedroom, which is accessed from the living room, is embellished with precious fabrics that surround the double bed (160 cm x 200 cm). A custom-made piece of furniture was built around the entrance door where it is possible to store your things. There is also a walnut antique chest of drawers.

The bathroom features ceramic tiles, has a bath with back-splash and chrome-plated radiators.

Public transportation:
Being in the heart of Bologna's city center, the apartment is well served by public transportation. Along Via Santo Stefano you can take several buses (to the fairgrounds, hospitals and train stations) and the shuttle to the airport.

Parking:
The apartment is just outside the restricted traffic area and you can park along adjacent Via Dante Alighieri inside the blue stalls. Tickets can be purchased at tobacco shops during the day; it is free from 8 pm to 8 am.

Driving in the history city center of Bologna:
In the case of multi-month stays (from 3 months up) you can apply for an entry permit in the historical city center. For guests staying for a short period, the city admits entrance to cars in the center for only 3 non-consecutive days in one month, or for 4 consecutive days. Access is guaranteed by a ticket (€6.00), available at TPer points located on: Via Marconi 4, at the corner of Via Lame, and at the bus station on Via Indipendenza. The ticket can also be bought at tobacco shops in the center next to the Basilica of San Petronio or at Carrefour supermarkets.

Area:
The apartment is in a strategically located position, less than a 5-minute walk from Piazza Maggiore and Piazza delle 7 Chiese (Piazza Santo Stefano). In the immediate vicinity there are points of great historical and artistic interest, such as the prestigious Academy of Fine Arts, the famous Municipal Opera Theater, the characteristic Jewish ghetto, the Garisenda Tower and the Asinelli Tower (less than a 2 minute walk, as well as Piazza Maggiore). The most famous shopping streets of Bologna, Via d'Azeglio and Via Farini (with its prestigious Cavour Gallery, with its high fashion and made in Italy brands), are not even 500 meters from the apartment.
