Modern open-space, 40 sq.m. apartment, on the 2nd floor (no elevator) of a historic building in the center of Bologna, a few steps from the Teatro Comunale of Bologna, the University area and the city’s most famous monuments.

Guests have access to the entire house and full use of the kitchen; bed linen and towels are provided. Upon arrival, our staff will be waiting at the apartment to explain equipment operations and to hand over keys. During your stay, we will be available to address any request/concern.

This apartment is located in the heart of Bologna’s night life (“movida”), in a strategic position to visit the city and live its warm and youthful atmosphere. From the apartment, you can easily walk to the city center’s major monuments , as well as the main railway station (a 15-minute walk). The apartment overlooks Via Moline, therefore - especially during the warm season - it is not recommended for guests who want to rest in absolute silence. Air conditioning is distributed via a portable air conditioner, and floors are covered in terracotta tiles.

A short hallway leads to the bright living area, with open-floor kitchen. The living room is furnished with large white desk with chair, sofa bed and large 4-door wardrobe interspersed with a library, which accommodates a 20” flat screen TV. The open-floor kitchen is fully equipped, modern and functional. Appliances like gas hob, microwave and dishwasher are stored in the kitchen’s cream-colored wall units. In front of the kitchen, next to the large French window that lights up the room, guests can make use of the comfortable dining table for 4 persons.

The sleeping area is divided from the main area by a bookcase and overlooks the building’s internal courtyard. It is furnished with comfortable full-size bed (120 cm x 200 cm) and dresser with mirror. The bathroom covered in white tiles features a glass shower stall and washing machine.

Area
The apartment is located in the historic center of Bologna, famous for the two towers and its old University. You can visit the Teatro Comunale (a real gem that every year offers a rich opera and concert calendar of events), and the Jewish Quarter (a tangle of narrow streets with quaint artisan shops).
Museum lovers can visit museums linked to the University of Bologna, which are in the immediate vicinity of the apartment, and include: The Zoology, Comparative Anatomy, Anthropology, Mineralogy, Botanical Garden, Herbarium museums and the National Art Gallery.
Food lovers will find themselves at the center of an area full of trattorias and typical taverns. In addition, this area lends itself to unbridled shopping: from luxury and brand shopping of Galleria Cavour, Via Farini and Via D'Azeglio, to visits to more accessible stores (Zara, H & M, Zara Home); from the gourmet markets of Via Clavature and via Pescherie Vecchie, an explosion of colors and flavors, to the cultural journey in Eataly and Bologna’s ancient book stores.
The apartment is located in a lively area in the center of Bologna’s night life (“movida”), and offers easy access to numerous pubs, bars and other facilities in the immediate vicinity.

Public transport
A short distance away, on Via dell’Indipendenza, you find many bus stops: including those for buses leading to the airport, the Fair and the Railway Station. Piazza Maggiore is at a 5-minute walk away, and can be reached in no time.

Parking
The apartment is located within a restricted traffic zone, on a pedestrian street. You can park in the adjacent ApCoa Parking, on Piazza VIII Agosto - reachable through via Irnerio - which is about 300 meters from the apartment. The parking fee is € 20 for 24 hours and monthly permits are available for € 200 a month.
