Beautifully restored in August 2017 and furnished with high quality finishes and furniture, this modern 90 sq. mt. apartment has 2 bedrooms and is located on the 3rd floor of an elegant building (with elevator and video surveillance) in the historic city center. It is in the perfect location for exploring the city comfortably.

Guests have full use of the kitchen. Sheets and towels are provided. Upon arrival, our staff will be at the apartment to explain how everything in the apartment works and to deliver the keys. During your stay, we are at your disposal for any need.

To ensure guests a pleasant stay in a refined, modern, and well-equipped environment, air conditioning is present in every room, the fixtures are of the latest generation, and are designed to maximize the thermal soundness of the windows. The flooring is an elegant bleached oak parquet. The apartment, being on a high floor and well insulated allows you to rest without being disturbed. The elevator and absence of architectural barriers (except for a step to access the living room) make it accessible to those with motor difficulties.

The property opens up onto a bright living room. The living area is furnished with a comfortable double sofa bed (140 cm x 200 cm) in front of a 20” flat screen TV. The steel and crystal dining table is suitable for 4 guests but can be extended to comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests.

The large, custom-made, open-plan kitchen is located right in front of the dining table and features an island. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, electric oven, and a large refrigerator with freezer compartment.

A corridor gives access to the sleeping area which consists of 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The master bedroom is furnished with a double bed (160 cm x 200 cm), a comfortable chest of drawers, and a large wardrobe with 3 sliding doors. The guest room has 2 twin beds and a large wardrobe. From this room you can access the apartment’s balcony. The bathroom is elegantly finished and equipped with a built-in shower and custom wall units.

Guests also have a useful storage room for storing cleaning supplies and the washing machine. The apartment is in a very strategic position. The higher floor makes it very quiet and, although it is inside the walls of the historic center, you can reach it by car as it is located just outside the restricted traffic area.

Area
The apartment is located within the historic center of Bologna, just outside the restricted traffic area and in front of the Palazzo dello Sport Giuseppe Dozza, where the renowned Bologna basketball team (Fortitudo) plays. Piazza Maggiore, the 2 towers, and all of the major monuments are nearby and reachable within a 10-minute walk.
There are many restaurants in the Porta Lame area, including the famous Bolognese chef, Cesare Marretti’s restaurant (Via Leopardi). Just a short walk from the apartment you can visit the MamBo Museum of Contemporary Art, spend an evening at Cinema Lumiere or at the Arlecchino, or go to eat at the Mercato della Terra on Via Azzo Giardino where every Saturday morning you can find local organic products.
In the area is also the Cineteca di Bologna and the Cavaticcio park near the famous "Cassero" disco. The large, recently inaugurated September 11 park represents a small green heart near the apartment.

Public transportation
Along Viale Silvani, at the end of Via Calori, buses 32 and 33 lead to the train station, and bus 35 to the fair.

Parking
Parking is available in the blue lines free of charge from 20:00 to 8:00, and for a fee during the daytime. Ticket s can be purchased at authorized tobacco shops and Tper offices (Via Marconi 1). Possibility of parking in the adjacent Via Azzo Gardino in APCOA Riva Reno parking for €12 for 24 hours or €130 for monthly subscriptions.
